Proud to receive NJ Monthly Nurse’s Choice Honor

I recently received notification of another Top Doc type honor.

New Jersey Monthly, a statewide, well-respected magazine published their Nurse’s Choice : Top Doctors article.  This was a poll of nurses statewide to see who they would recommend as a physician.

I was among the 7 Plastic Surgeons were among the 180 doctors listed in this article.  As a plastic surgeon practicing in Southern New Jersey I am especially proud of this honor.  I have a list of recent awards but am especially proud of this one which is from nurses who work with physicians on a daily basis.

More interesting facts from the 2009 ASAPS Statistics

In the survey I wrote about yesterday, there were some other interesting statistics:

  • 59% of women say they approve of plastic surgery
  • 51% of men say they approve of plastic surgery

Interestingly,

  • 37% of women say they would consider plastic surgery for themselves
  • 19% of men say they would consider plastic surgery for themselves

These numbers show the high popularity of plastic surgery.  While many people have the feeling that plastic surgery is only for the rich and famous, or for Miami or Los Angeles, this simply is not the truth.  I can attest to the popularity of plastic surgery in New Jersey, and it certainly is only getting more popular!
