Philadelphia Magazine Top Plastic Surgeon

Wow!  What an honor it was to be named as a Top Plastic Surgeon in Philadelphia Magazine’s Top Doc 2010 listing.

I have received many similar awards over the years in Southern New Jersey publications and even New Jersey state magazines but the Philadelphia Magazine listing is an especially nice honor.

When I looked to see who else is listed, it is mostly University of Pennsylvania docs and a few of us in private practice.  It is a nice group to be named with!

In and settled….

The last few weeks have been somewhat hectic.  Moving into a new building was truly more complicated than any home move I have ever done- even moving across the country.  It is amazing how much “stuff” a medical practice can accumulate!

That being said, we are in and 98% unpacked!  The office is great!  It is beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and private.  One of my biggest pet peeves with the old office was the lack of intimacy possible in a large medical office building.  Now, you park in a private lot, come in to a spacious, relaxing waiting room, and have privacy and comfort.

I didn’t cut any corners in planning for this building, and am extremely happy with the results.  Exam rooms are not only functional but quiet and comfortable.  Supplies are easy to access.  Storage is ample.  Bathrooms are plenty (and nicely tiled!)  The photo studio is cool!  The medspa room is relaxing…..

The operating room is simply awesome!  I am amazed at how putting top quality “everything” makes a difference.  When you design it yourself you get what you need.  It is amazing how hospital administrators who cut corners to save expenses truly impact the most important room in regards to a patient’s result.  No corners were cut.  Superior air and filtration systems.  The best lighting.  An extreme OR table.   Quality and safety without any cut corners.  I love it, and I’m proud of it.

At this point I am simply enjoying all of the compliments on the facility from patients, vendors, and visitors.  If you haven’t been in to see everything, stop by for a quick tour!

Take care,

Evan S.
